1. Who is responsible

2. Data stored on your device
Your game progress (money, stars, items, crew, daily rewards) and your settings are saved locally on your device. They are never sent to us. Your operating system may include this data in your own device backups (e.g. Android backup or iCloud), depending on your system settings. You can delete it at any time with Settings → Reset progress or by uninstalling the game.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules local reminders on your device (for example when your crew has finished its jobs). They are created by the game itself, contain no personal data and are never sent through a server. You can turn them off in Settings → Reminders or in your system settings.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob, mobile versions only)
The free Android and iOS versions show ads provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA). To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK processes:

Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent (via Google's consent form) before personalised ads are shown or information on your device is accessed for advertising. Without consent you may still see non-personalised or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. In US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information in the same place when the option is offered. On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt decides whether the IDFA may be used.
Legal bases (GDPR): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for personalised advertising and access to your device; our legitimate interest in financing a free game (Art. 6(1)(f)) for non-personalised ads and fraud prevention. Google may process data outside the EU; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). The optional one-time purchase “Remove Ads” removes interstitial and pause-screen ads; optional reward videos remain available if you choose to watch them.
4. Optional statistics and crash reports (PostHog, all versions)
After your first job the game asks whether you want to share anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports. Nothing is sent before you answer, and nothing at all if you say no. You can change your answer any time in Settings → Share stats & crash reports.
If you agree, the game sends:

We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., USA) as our processor, with data stored in its EU cloud region. PostHog is configured to discard IP addresses. We don't send names, e-mail addresses, advertising IDs or precise location, and we don't use this data for advertising. We delete it at the latest after 12 months. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
5. In-app purchases
Purchases (“Remove Ads”) are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms and privacy policies. We never see your payment details; the game only receives a confirmation that the item was purchased so it can unlock it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Prices for “Remove Ads”: a welcome price during your first 3 days after installing, then the regular price. After 7 days of play (and not before two weeks after installing) the game may show a one-time personal thank-you price for 48 hours. This is decided on your device from the install date and the number of days you played – nothing else about you is used, and nothing is sent to us for it.
6. Desktop and web versions
The Steam, Epic Games Store and itch.io versions contain no ads and no purchases. Like the mobile versions, they only send the statistics and crash reports of section 4 if you agree. The store you download them from processes data under its own privacy policy.
7. Children
Pane Empire is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. Ad content is limited to family-friendly categories. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time (with effect for the future) and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The optional statistics (section 4) are tied only to a random installation ID, so we cannot tell which data is yours; turning them off in the settings stops all further collection. Requests about advertising data are best directed to Google; we are happy to help – write to the address above.
9. Changes
We will update this page if the game or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.

2. Daten auf deinem Gerät
Spielstand (Geld, Sterne, Gegenstände, Team, Tagesbelohnungen) und Einstellungen werden nur lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und nie an uns übertragen. Je nach Systemeinstellung kann dein Betriebssystem sie in deine eigenen Gerätesicherungen aufnehmen (z. B. Android-Backup, iCloud). Löschen kannst du sie jederzeit über Einstellungen → Fortschritt zurücksetzen oder durch Deinstallieren.
Erinnerungen
Wenn du Benachrichtigungen erlaubst, plant das Spiel lokale Erinnerungen auf deinem Gerät (z. B. wenn dein Team seine Aufträge erledigt hat). Sie enthalten keine personenbezogenen Daten und laufen über keinen Server. Abschalten kannst du sie unter Einstellungen → Erinnerungen oder in den Systemeinstellungen.
3. Werbung (Google AdMob, nur Mobilversionen)
Die kostenlosen Android- und iOS-Versionen zeigen Werbung von Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, sowie Google LLC, USA). Zur Auslieferung, Frequenzbegrenzung, Messung und Betrugsvermeidung verarbeitet das Google Mobile Ads SDK: Werbe-IDs (Android-Werbe-ID, App-Set-ID; auf iOS die IDFA nur mit deiner Tracking-Erlaubnis), die IP-Adresse und daraus abgeleitete ungefähre Standortdaten, Interaktionen mit Anzeigen sowie App-, Geräte- und Diagnosedaten.
Einwilligung. Im EWR, im Vereinigten Königreich und in der Schweiz fragen wir über das Einwilligungsformular von Google, bevor personalisierte Werbung gezeigt oder für Werbezwecke auf Informationen auf deinem Gerät zugegriffen wird. Ohne Einwilligung siehst du ggf. nicht personalisierte oder eingeschränkte Werbung. Deine Auswahl kannst du jederzeit unter Einstellungen → Datenschutzoptionen ändern. Auf iOS entscheidet die App-Tracking-Transparenz-Abfrage, ob die IDFA genutzt werden darf.
Rechtsgrundlagen: Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, § 165 Abs. 3 TKG 2021) für personalisierte Werbung und den Zugriff auf dein Gerät; unser berechtigtes Interesse an der Finanzierung eines kostenlosen Spiels (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO) für nicht personalisierte Werbung und Betrugsvermeidung. Google verarbeitet Daten auch außerhalb der EU; Übermittlungen stützen sich auf das EU-US Data Privacy Framework und Standardvertragsklauseln. Der optionale Einmalkauf „Werbung entfernen“ entfernt Zwischen- und Pausenwerbung; freiwillige Belohnungsvideos bleiben verfügbar.
4. Freiwillige Statistiken und Absturzberichte (PostHog, alle Versionen)
Nach deinem ersten Auftrag fragt das Spiel, ob du anonyme Spielstatistiken und Absturzberichte teilen möchtest. Vor deiner Antwort wird nichts gesendet, bei „Nein“ überhaupt nichts. Du kannst deine Wahl jederzeit unter Einstellungen → Statistik & Absturzberichte ändern.
Wenn du zustimmst, sendet das Spiel: eine vom Spiel erzeugte Zufalls-ID der Installation (nicht mit deinem Namen, Konto oder deiner Werbe-ID verknüpft); App-Version, Store, Gerätetyp, Betriebssystem, Bildschirmgröße und Sprache; Spielereignisse (gespielte Aufträge und Ergebnisse, Käufe mit Spielmünzen, freigeschaltete Viertel und Erfolge, ob ein Werbevideo gezeigt werden konnte); Fehlerberichte (Fehlermeldung und Stelle im Spielcode) sowie die Bildrate während der Aufträge. Zweck: Abstürze beheben, das Spiel ausbalancieren und Fehler, Exploits und Werbeprobleme finden.
Auftragsverarbeiter ist PostHog (PostHog Inc., USA); die Daten liegen in der EU-Region von PostHog. IP-Adressen werden von PostHog verworfen. Wir senden keine Namen, E-Mail-Adressen, Werbe-IDs oder genauen Standorte und nutzen die Daten nicht für Werbung. Wir löschen sie spätestens nach 12 Monaten. Rechtsgrundlage ist deine Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, § 165 Abs. 3 TKG 2021), die du jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen kannst.
5. In-App-Käufe
Käufe werden vollständig von Google Play bzw. dem Apple App Store nach deren Bedingungen abgewickelt. Zahlungsdaten sehen wir nie; das Spiel erhält nur eine Kaufbestätigung, um den Artikel freizuschalten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO).
Preise für „Werbung entfernen“: in den ersten 3 Tagen nach der Installation ein Willkommenspreis, danach der reguläre Preis. Nach 7 Spieltagen (frühestens zwei Wochen nach der Installation) kann das Spiel einmalig für 48 Stunden einen persönlichen Dankeschön-Preis zeigen. Das entscheidet das Gerät allein anhand des Installationsdatums und der Zahl deiner Spieltage – nichts anderes über dich wird dafür verwendet und nichts an uns gesendet.
6. Desktop- und Web-Versionen
Die Versionen für Steam, den Epic Games Store und itch.io enthalten keine Werbung und keine Käufe. Wie die Mobilversionen senden sie Statistiken und Absturzberichte (Abschnitt 4) nur mit deiner Zustimmung.
7. Kinder
Pane Empire ist für alle Altersgruppen geeignet, richtet sich aber nicht an Kinder unter 13 Jahren. Werbeinhalte sind auf familienfreundliche Kategorien beschränkt.
8. Deine Rechte
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Widerspruch, Datenübertragbarkeit, Widerruf einer Einwilligung mit Wirkung für die Zukunft sowie auf Beschwerde bei einer Datenschutzaufsichtsbehörde. Die freiwilligen Statistiken (Abschnitt 4) hängen nur an einer zufälligen Installations-ID, daher können wir nicht erkennen, welche Daten von dir stammen; Abschalten in den Einstellungen beendet jede weitere Erfassung. Anfragen zu Werbedaten richtest du am besten an Google – wir helfen gerne, schreib uns an die oben genannte Adresse.
